The new musical This One’s for the Girls begins performances October 7 prior to an official opening October 27 at St. Luke’s Theatre.

Directed by Tamara Kangas Erickson, the cast features Traci Bair (Cirque Dreams, Pandora’s Box), Aneesa Folds (Ragtime, Sistas), Jana Robbins (Gypsy, I Love My Wife, Crimes of the Heart), and Haley Swindal (Jekyll & Hyde). Zachary Ryan serves as music director.

Written by Dorothy Marcic, This One’s for the Girls is described as “a high-energy celebration of American women.” William Franzblau produces; show times are Fridays at 8 PM and Saturdays at 2 PM.

The cast is also scheduled to be part of New York City’s 73rd Annual Columbus Day Parade October 9, performing a medley of Top 40 hits. The parade will be broadcast live on ABC Channel 7.
